Air Quality: Regulation is not always the best answer
In a reply to the European Commission’s public consultation on air quality, Eurofuel stresses the major progress achieved in the oil heating sector through industry efforts. The industry has developed and deployed new and more efficient boilers, as well as new products (including low-sulphur heating oil). A technology-neutral approach should be taken as regards air pollution.
