Eastern Energy Expo is over, the pathway to deploy low carbon and renewable liquid fuels to heating is in front of us

With attendance exceeding 3,100 participants and 190 exhibiting companies, Eastern Energy Expo, the US "must go to" comfort and energy trade show, reports a hugely successful convention and trade show as it marked the return to an in-person event.

The Expo received accolades from attendees, exhibitors and sponsors with more than 60 business programs convened during the event.

Two Keynote Presentations attracted a full-house audience as attendees learned the latest on the state of distillates and the industry’s response to heating sector electrification and Bioheat’s® role in providing the alternative low carbon fuel. Moritz Bellingen, Eurofuel President, presented the European trends and the sector's vision for a decarbonised heating for all European citizens, including in off-grid areas.

Additionally, the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) conducted its annual Technology Workshop featuring more than 20 presentations on the future of low carbon heating fuels. Sandrine Devos, Eurofuel Secretary General, together with David Morin from Suntec (also a member of Eurofuel), presented the French example, which illustrates that it is possible to deploy low-carbon liquid fuels for heating, provided the decision-makers fully endorse the principle of technology neutrality, and thanks to the will power of the French sector.

NORA President, Michael Devine, shared his ambitious vision for the US sector - more info to come on the Eurofuel blog
